The Anne Arundel All Stars was established in 2008 in order to provide an elite club lacrosse team for the Annapolis area high school player. The team was founded by coaches and commissioners from the Annapolis Area Youth Lacrosse Association (AYLA), Davidsonville and Severna Park recreation programs. The underlying premise of the Anne Arundel All Stars is that elite local lacrosse players should have the opportunity to play on an Anne Arundel County based club team with high caliber athletes from the greater Annapolis area.
The Anne Arundel All Stars have compiled a coaching and administrative staff of All Americans from Johns Hopkins, Cornell, Universityof Maryland and Washington College as well as experienced masters level and recreation level coaches with multiple tournament, county and state “AA” level championship titles.
With the generous sponsorship of Smartlink, LLC, we are able to provide MLL staffed player skill sessions, a full tournament schedule, college recruiting specialists and web site for under $500 per player. No board member receives any form of compensation from the organization.
MISSION To provide a high level, competitive travel/summer squad for the Anne Arundel County lacrosse community. Our focus will be on the high school athlete that aspires to play lacrosse in college and elevate his game to the next level. Our program will play in the most competitive divisions available at selected tournaments. Players will be invited to play based on but not limited to the following criteria: athleticism, lacrosse I.Q., player history, ability, citizenship, parental behavior and position.
